Free Choice reading book. Read for 1/2 hour and respond to Reading Log questions.
Science: Page 81 and 88 Section Reviews due Tuesday.
Math: Today we worked on page 20: The Licorice Problem. Students had to divide licorice up into different amounts to share equally with groups.
Language Arts:
Today was "Make-up Monday" I reminded several students of missing work and gave them class time to get some make-up work done. Students who weren't behind got to continue working on their PhotoStory.
Social Studies: Book work today. We are continuing to learn about the Mexican people, the challenges they face and their diverse culture. Students took an open book quiz.
Science: Today we explored cardiovascular diseases and how they can lead to a heart attack.
